Here at HGV Driver Training Centre Ltd we offer specialist courses for campervans & motorhomes.
There are 2 main types of license you may need to driver a motorhome or campervan; these are listed below.
Cat C1 license
This license is used if the motorhome or campervan weight is under 7.5 tonnes.
This course consists of a medical, provisional, theory test and a 3 day course with test. Once completed you will be able to drive any small vehicle up to 7.5 tons. For more information and prices please either call on 0808 168 5255 or fill in this quick form.
Category C license
Once this license is complete you will be able to drive any motorhome or campervan as long as it is one unit (no trailer).
This is our most popular license and the one we recommend to most drivers, as you will not be restricted by weight.
As with the C1 license you will complete a quick medical, apply for a provisional license, take a theory test – all of which we will take you through, but then you will complete a 4 day practical course with test.
