Any driver who obtained their LGV licence before September 2009 who wants to drive for a living MUST complete Periodic Training, professional drivers can be fined for not completing the required hours.
If you obtained your LGV licence AFTER September 2009 you have 5 years to complete 35 hours of periodic training from the date of completion of Driver CPC Initial Qualification.
Our Direct Access course* not only counts as 14 hours towards your 35-hour requirement but also works as a recruitment tool, as it provides a certificate of competence
plus accreditation for your CV.
